Huashan Worldwide Medical Center (HWMC), founded in 1989, is a multidisciplinary, modern international medical establishment. The out-patient clinic is situated on the 8th floor of Building No.1 in the Huashan Hospital campus.

Hand Surgery
The department of hand surgery at HWMC is a well-respected, outstanding department not only within China but throughout the world. The department is internationally acclaimed and our hand surgeons have received worldwide recognition for their exceptional work. In 2005, we successfully treated over 850 patients requiring hand surgery and this year we expect that number to increase considerably.
Patient care is our top priority and as this is the case our hand surgeons show great concern for the well-being of their patients, both pre-operation and post-operation, and frequent doctor-patient contact is customary. The standard of care provided by our hand surgeons is exceptionally high, as is our rate of successful treatment. We continually strive to provide the best possible patient care available by using the most recent and advanced scientific treatments and surgical methods. These efforts have paid off as demonstrated by the fact that our surgical techniques and treatment methods have proved to be among the best in treating many different disorders, with one specific area of expertise being those disorders that are common to China.
We are equipped to handle a wide range of problems including, but not limited to, replantation of amputated fingers, skin flap repairs, nerve injury repairs and brachial plexus injuries. Many diagnostic tests are available at our facility including x-rays, as well as other tests. Treatment methods are excellent and fully comprehensive and include, among other methods, medication and surgery. Huashan hospital also boasts state-of-the-art equipment which allows us to successfully implement the newest and most cutting-edge techniques in surgeries. This equipment helps doctors to reduce the risks of operations and at the same time give better treatment to their patients.
